MISSION:
Aspen Elks #224 Youth Services Committee is committed to providing financial assistance and scholarships to local non-profit youth organizations including arts, education, community needs, youth activities, mental health and athletics, between Aspen and Basalt.

GRANT GUIDELINES:
Grant recipients shall be locally based organizations which provide benefit to the local community.
Grants shall not be awarded to individuals.
Private educational facilities may be awarded grants to support programs when the specific programs benefit the community at large.
Grant applications may be submitted once per fiscal year per organization.  (April 1st – March 31st)
It shall be the applicant’s responsibility to submit its application by the second week of the month to be considered for the next review cycle.
Grant requests shall be submitted via email to youth@aspenelks.org
Grants shall be evaluated and awarded at a meeting by a vote of the majority of the Board of Directors with discretionary recommendation from the Youth Services Committee.
Notification of grants shall be via email the second Tuesday of each month.
