We Care We Share is our latest program, led by Ken Williams which reaches out to the Western Slope. The link contains all the details and the checks have been issued and received, for a total of $12,800. The only exception is the scholarship which we continue to work on. As I may have mentioned our new Women Veterans program led by Karen Carner and Peg Briscoe has spent approximately $4000 helping Women Veterans needs.

In addition we sent $2000 to the CONG emergency fund. And during this Xmas season
we spent $2000 and with the help of VFW Post #3981 who purchased, package and delivered 70 turkeys and hams to Veterans families. The money left over continues to help feed these families. Thanks to Katherine McMillan a lodge member with with 37 years experience in PR, most of these contributions have appeared in the local news and will be
appearing in the Elks state and National news.
